Okay, so I’m trying to log my progress here. 2 weeks in and we’re down to 263lbs. So 11lbs in 2 weeks. Did not drink, had no fast food and got lots of walks in. Including 3 straight hours of golf, then another hour out on a nice walk. Along with the 20+ min’s daily, doing good on the walking.
The 1st 11 lbs are something, but with any serious diet the 1st 10 to 15lbs come off pretty quick…it’s AFTER that weight drops when it takes more work. So with about 3 weeks left, I’m hoping to lose 12 more lbs and hit the 250lb mark. This still feels reasonable. I’m eating really good, not drinking at all, tons of water. Only had 1 day where I missed making my smoothie. Body feels energized and tense, but tense in a good way. My brain feels like it’s running better and yeah, so far it all feels pretty good. But have a long way to go for sure.
Need to pick up the walking and add more exercise for sure. Ordered a weighted vest, own a couple kettlebells. 1 is 20lbs and the other 35lbs. So pretty light weight, but good for my joints and knees and back to work with those.
